Kevin Langdale graduated from the Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design with a diploma in Animation. His student film Crank has been screened at Canadian and international film festivals and won second place at the Puchon International Student Animation Festival in Korea. In 2004, Kevin was selected as one of six promising filmmakers from across Canada from the National Film Board Animation's Hothouse, as intensive program designed to nurture emerging animators with the full support of NFB creative experts. Kevin currently works in the independent film industry in Vancouver. Engine 371 is his first professional film.
